Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator ensures efficient room turnover and smooth communication between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. You will manage daily room status, prioritize cleaning tasks and support the housekeeping team to maintain high guest‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status and identify discrepancies.
• Prioritize and assign cleaning for vacant, dirty, rush and “Do Not Disturb” rooms.
• Prepare and distribute daily room assignments to housekeeping staff.
• Act as liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry to resolve issues.
• Document and follow up on discrepant rooms with the front desk.
• Complete required housekeeping paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies; report hazards and incidents.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and protect company assets.
• Perform physical duties such as standing, walking and lifting items up to 10 lb.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hotel environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills; speak clearly and professionally with staff and guests.
• Attention to detail for accurate room status reporting and paperwork.
• Commitment to safety, security and company policies.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
