Java Developer – Orkes/Netflix Conductor (Bank, Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a leading bank in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and workflow orchestration using Orkes Conductor (or Netflix Conductor) and Spring Boot.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Create, manage, and optimise workflows with Orkes Conductor.
• Integrate services with RESTful APIs and external systems.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Java microservices and Conductor workflows.
• Monitor system health, set up alerts, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams for deployment and scaling.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to ensure high availability.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience in Java 8 or higher.
• Hands‑on experience with Orkes Conductor or Netflix Conductor.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of REST APIs and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Good debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
