Lounge Manager – Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Lounge Manager will lead daily bar and lounge operations for an Accor property in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for driving profitability, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering a personalized guest experience. Fluency in Arabic is required to engage with local patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of lounge and bar operations, including inventory control and compliance with local laws.
• Plan and monitor the lounge budget, reviewing monthly revenue and expenditure forecasts.
• Analyse month‑end reports, identify deviations from business plans, and propose corrective actions.
• Participate in management meetings to align on business goals and develop annual plans.
• Implement profit‑enhancement programs in collaboration with the kitchen and marketing teams.
• Maintain cost controls for food & beverage, productivity, staffing, and supplies.
• Conduct daily briefings and supervise staff to ensure tasks are completed to standards.
• Build strong relationships with guests, remembering names and preferences to provide personalized service.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Manage administrative duties related to cash handling, stock levels, and equipment supply.
• Ensure lounge cleanliness and compliance with F&B sanitation and hygiene regulations.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate team members, conducting performance reviews and scheduling.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience managing lounge or bar operations in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to handle guest issues tactfully.
