Marine Advisor – UAE National Only

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for a UAE national to act as the company’s marine representative in Abu Dhabi. The Marine Advisor will provide marine and HSE advisory support for offshore logistics, vessel operations, lifting, installation and technical compliance on major oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct marine vessel inspections from marine and HSE perspectives.
• Support daily marine office activities including vessel monitoring, scope preparation, technical reviews and contractor audits.
• Witness and monitor offshore lifts and installation activities.
• Participate in or lead incident investigations.
• Provide technical marine advice to contractor personnel.
• Verify marine operational documents and compliance records.
• Prepare technical and operational reports.
• Participate in emergency response management and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of offshore oil and gas experience.
• Experience as Master on vessels such as PSV, AHTS, heavy lift, dive support, construction, pipe lay, cable lay, DP or conventional vessels.
• Strong knowledge of marine safety, HSE and offshore standards.
• Excellent English communication, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work offshore and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Master Mariner Class 1 Certificate of Competency (STCW compliant) or equivalent BSc in Maritime Discipline.
• Marine vessel inspection and technical advisory expertise.
• Computer proficiency and technical report writing.
