Network Planning Analyst (Cargo)

About the role

Etihad Cargo is seeking a Network Planning Analyst to optimise its freighter network. You will work closely with operational, commercial and finance teams to ensure the cargo schedule is profitable, operationally feasible and aligned with the broader Etihad Aviation Group strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage short‑term freighter schedule delivery, ensuring capacity optimisation, operational integrity and on‑time performance.
• Develop long‑term (6‑12 month) network plans to maximise profitability and support commercial requests.
• Recommend capacity‑optimisation initiatives to senior management and contribute to annual and multi‑year schedule budgeting.
• Coordinate with Network Planning, Revenue Management, Alliances, Operations, Government Affairs, Finance and Corporate Communications.
• Protect and enhance Etihad’s slot portfolio and ensure accurate flight publication.
• Handle ad‑hoc charter requests that add value without compromising operations.
• Design and implement a freighter network that balances fleet utilisation and cargo capacity.
• Analyse route profitability and support tactical and structural frequency and fleet adjustments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of airline experience in network planning or scheduling; cargo exposure is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical and negotiation abilities.
