Production Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to act as the central coordination hub for daily production activities across multiple departments. The role ensures smooth workflow, accurate ERP data, and on‑time execution of production schedules while maintaining clear communication between production, procurement, warehouse, quality, engineering, and planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and monitor inter‑departmental workflow to meet schedule commitments.
• Maintain and update production boards, WIP tracking, and status reports.
• Enter and validate data in the ERP system, ensuring accurate records of production, inventory, and material transactions.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, quality, and engineering to resolve material shortages and documentation issues.
• Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and resource availability to all relevant teams.
• Track production progress, flag delays or risks, and escalate issues to department leads.
• Manage bookings for shared equipment, tools, and testing stations.
• Support production planning by gathering operational data and status updates.
• Maintain production documentation, work orders, logs, and operational records.
• Follow up on pending inter‑departmental actions to ensure timely closure.
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Generate daily and weekly reports on WIP, shortages, and schedule performance.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in production coordination, operations, manufacturing administration, or ERP‑related roles.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
