About the role

The Sales Assistant role at ACE Hardware, Festival Plaza Jebel Ali, is focused on delivering an inviting shopping experience while driving sales. You will interact directly with customers, provide product expertise, and ensure the store operates smoothly and looks its best.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service, advising shoppers on product choices and usage.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Develop product knowledge to recommend suitable items and increase add‑on sales.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, displaying merchandise, and ensuring timely product availability.
• Maintain accurate pricing and ticketing, protecting the company from pricing errors.
• Apply merchandising principles to keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Support stock takes, new store openings, product launches, and seasonal promotional events.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary school education.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail environment.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to clearly communicate product benefits and assist customers effectively.
