Sales Manager

About the role

GMG is seeking a Sales Manager to bridge strategy with execution across its diverse portfolio of sport, health, beauty, and retail brands. The role will drive listing processes, joint business plans, forecasting, and field execution while ensuring operational excellence and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy resources based on market dynamics and selling strategies for each trade channel.
• Develop market segmentation, geography plans, and joint business plans for the sales team.
• Execute promotional activities and trade‑marketing activations on time and according to guidelines.
• Collaborate with trade‑marketing and category teams to tailor promotions for each customer and channel.
• Analyse market trends, identify new opportunities, and devise go‑to‑market plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Build primary and secondary visibility plans to increase share of shelf and market share.
• Produce monthly forecasting reports for the region and evaluate performance against targets.
• Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.
• Manage A&P budget, track trade spend, and raise claims on a timely basis.
• Analyse ROI by customer/account and take corrective actions to maintain margins.
• Identify and acquire new customers, up‑sell existing accounts, and monitor emerging market shifts.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management.
