Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel

About the Role

Join a leading global technology group as a Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel based in our Dubai office. This strategic role is designed for a high-caliber legal expert who will act as a key advisor on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters while driving the company's compliance framework across the region.

Main Missions

• Provide expert legal counsel on complex commercial, corporate, and regulatory issues to support business growth.
• Strengthen and oversee the regional compliance framework to ensure alignment with international and local standards.
• Support and execute strategic corporate initiatives through robust legal guidance.
• Manage cross-border transactional matters and navigate diverse legal systems.
• Advise senior stakeholders and leadership on legal risks and mitigation strategies.

Candidate Profile

• 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in business/commercial law and compliance, gained within a top-tier law firm and/or a multinational corporation.
• Proven track record in managing or establishing comprehensive compliance frameworks.
• Extensive experience in handling cross-border transactions and navigating international legal landscapes.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Regional experience within the Middle East and Africa (MEA) is highly desirable.
