Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

We are partnering with an innovation‑driven organization in Abu Dhabi to appoint a Senior Procurement Manager. This strategic leadership position will shape the procurement vision, drive cost optimisation and support high‑value sourcing across advanced technical categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement strategy for the entire organisation.
• Drive strategic sourcing and category management for complex, high‑value purchases.
• Oversee supplier relationship management, performance monitoring and governance.
• Manage contract negotiations to secure strong commercial outcomes.
• Deliver cost optimisation initiatives and generate financial value.
• Champion procurement transformation, including digital tools and process improvements.
• Act as a key advisor to senior leadership and manage a high‑performing procurement team.

Required profile

• 12+ years of procurement experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, contracting and supplier management.
• Experience managing complex or technical procurement categories.
• Engineering background is strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or PMP are a plus.
• Excellent commercial, analytical and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/eProcurement systems, preferably SAP and Ariba.
