Senior Talent Recruiter – Fintech

About the role

Optasia is looking for a Senior Talent Recruiter to lead hiring for its fast‑growing fintech business across Africa, Asia and Europe. The role combines strategic talent‑mapping, stakeholder partnership and data‑driven recruitment to secure top talent for technical, commercial and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for senior and critical hires across multiple geographies.
• Partner with business leaders to define role briefs, success profiles and sourcing strategies.
• Develop proactive talent pipelines and market‑mapping initiatives, especially for hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Use recruitment metrics to monitor funnel health, time‑to‑fill and quality of hire, and recommend improvements.
• Advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation positioning and interview best practices.
• Champion inclusive, structured selection processes to reduce bias.
• Collaborate with People team on offers, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Represent Optasia’s employer brand in the market and craft compelling candidate communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of talent acquisition experience in fast‑moving, international environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver high‑quality hires.
• Strong commercial awareness and passion for candidate experience.
• Experience building pipelines across Africa, Asia and Europe.
• Data‑oriented mindset with ability to translate insights into action.
