Team Leader, NG Operations

About the role

The Team Leader, NG Operations will head the CNG & Hydrogen Operations department, ensuring safe, efficient and timely distribution of CNG across ADNOC service stations throughout the UAE. This senior position combines operational oversight, supplier management and continuous improvement of standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, direct and manage daily CNG & Hydrogen operational activities, including training and mentoring of team members.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise operational tasks, personnel and resource utilization.
• Manage Gas Purchase Agreements, meter reading, GRNs and calibration of custody transfer equipment.
• Liaise with gas suppliers to secure product availability and ensure compliance with ADNOC quality guidelines.
• Monitor daily operations, conduct inventory analysis, and produce timely reports on CNG stocks, consumables and equipment.
• Develop, implement and maintain operational standards, procedures and specifications aligned with best industry practices.
• Enforce safety precautions, PTW procedures and ensure strict adherence during all work at CNG stations.
• Stay updated on international developments in natural gas, CNG technology and trailer operations.
• Approve maintenance and shutdown activities for plants and fueling stations, ensuring reliability and optimal utilization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing CNG and Hydrogen operations or similar natural‑gas facilities.
• Strong knowledge of gas purchase agreements, supplier liaison and custody transfer equipment.
• Solid understanding of safety PTW procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to develop and enforce operational standards and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Leadership skills with a focus on training, mentoring and team development.
