Welfare Assistant – School Bus Monitor & Facilities Support

About the role

The Aquila School is seeking a dedicated Welfare Assistant to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its pupils. This role combines bus supervision, behaviour management, and facilities upkeep to create a secure and welcoming learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor children on school buses at the start and end of each day, ensuring safe transport.
• Promote positive behaviour by acting as a role model and using the school’s reward system.
• Maintain all school areas in a spotless condition, including classrooms, corridors, and common spaces.
• Manage stock levels of consumables and keep accurate records.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding school matters and student information.
• Assist with any additional tasks assigned by the facilities manager or regional office to support daily operations.
