ABI Rig Machine Operator – Construction & Piling

About the role

Al Marwan Group is looking for an experienced ABI Rig Machine Operator to join its foundation and piling team. The role involves operating ABI piling rigs on construction sites across the GCC, ensuring safe and efficient execution of foundation works.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ABI rig machines on foundation, piling and related construction projects.
• Execute drilling and piling operations according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret site drawings and work instructions to set up and run the rig.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure the rig is in optimal condition.
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental standards on site.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience operating ABI rigs in construction or piling projects.
• Valid Heavy Tractor operator licence (or equivalent GCC licence).
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

Required skills

• ABI rig operation.
• Heavy Tractor licence.
• Drilling and piling techniques (CFA piling, bored piling, sheet piling).
• Reading technical drawings and work instructions.
• Machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
