Associate – Asia-focused Private Equity (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

This position supports the evaluation, execution and ongoing monitoring of global private market investments, with a specific focus on direct private equity opportunities across Asia. The Associate will work closely with senior team members to drive investment decisions and portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the evaluation, execution and monitoring of private market investments, including co‑investments.
• Conduct financial modelling, including leveraged buy‑outs (LBOs) and investment analysis for new opportunities.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and materials for the internal investment committee.
• Assist in due diligence across commercial, financial and operational workstreams.
• Collaborate with senior team members to monitor portfolio performance and provide analytical insights.

Required profile

• Experience in the M&A team of a top‑tier investment bank, or a private equity role with prior investment‑banking exposure.
• Outstanding academic record from a top‑tier university.
• Strong business acumen and high professional integrity.
• Native‑level or fluent proficiency in an Asian language (e.g., Japanese, Korean) in addition to English is highly desirable.
