Corporate Associate – M&A & Joint Ventures

About the role

We are partnering with a leading local law firm in Abu Dhabi that is expanding its corporate team. The Corporate Associate will work on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate structuring across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A, disposals and joint venture transactions throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Draft, review and assist in negotiating transactional documents such as SPAs, SHAs, JV agreements and related ancillary paperwork.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, including board procedures, shareholder rights and constitutional documentation.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical advice to senior lawyers and clients.
• Liaise with regulators, opposing counsel and internal stakeholders as required.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously while working closely with partners and senior associates.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 2–5 years post‑qualification experience in corporate law.
• Excellent drafting ability, strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
