DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Automation

About the role

Capgemini's Global Insights & Data business line is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help deliver innovative data and AI solutions across multiple industries. The role combines office, client‑site and remote work, focusing on automation, cloud infrastructure, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash, Python or PowerShell scripts.
• Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud using IaC tools like Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation.
• Configure, monitor and optimise virtual machines, containers, storage, networking and security services.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) and implement high‑availability and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline releases and support stable test environments.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, manage identity, access control, secret management and vulnerability scanning.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in container technologies and orchestration.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code and Linux/Unix systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and performance issues.
