DevOps Engineer

About the role

Capgemini's Global Insights & Data business line is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support innovative data and AI solutions across multiple industries. The role blends office, client‑site, and remote work, focusing on automation, cloud infrastructure, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests and deployments.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Manage cloud environments on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, including VMs, containers, storage, networking and security.
• Monitor and optimise cloud costs, performance and scalability.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline releases and support test environments.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, manage identity, access control and vulnerability checks.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
