Director, Legal Counsel (Arabic-Speaking)

About the role

Manazil Group is seeking an experienced Director, Legal Counsel who is fluent in Arabic and English to join its Sharjah office. The role involves overseeing legal matters across real estate, hospitality, and healthcare businesses within the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate Sale and Purchase Agreements, lease agreements, development agreements, construction contracts and other commercial contracts.
• Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements and development projects.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations and governmental requirements related to real estate and corporate operations.
• Conduct legal due diligence for real estate transactions and development initiatives.
• Liaise with external counsel, government authorities and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Assist in resolving disputes concerning real estate, commercial and contractual matters.
• Handle legal issues related to hospital operations, including patient relations, complaints, healthcare compliance and related disputes.
• Support internal departments on legal matters pertaining to property development, operations and asset management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Minimum of seven (12) years of legal experience in the United Arab Emirates.
• Proven experience handling real‑estate and property‑related legal matters and disputes.
• Strong knowledge of UAE real‑estate laws, property regulations and contractual frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
