Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Manager for a leading client in the electric‑vehicle logistics and transport sector in the UAE. The role will lead on‑ground fleet activities, supervise drivers, and ensure efficient, compliant and safe operations across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and monitor vehicles across client sites, ports and terminals, optimizing utilization and minimizing idle time.
• Recruit, train and manage performance of drivers, including those specialised in electric‑vehicle operation.
• Maintain accurate trip records, operational documentation and cost reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE RTA regulations, health‑safety‑environment policies and internal standards.
• Coordinate with technical teams on EV performance, charging schedules and maintenance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for fleet and logistics activities.
• Lead on‑site teams, fostering accountability and discipline.
• Support expansion projects, client onboarding and new route development.

Required profile

• 5–15 years of experience in fleet, transport or logistics operations; EV experience is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
• Fluent English (mandatory); Hindi preferred; Arabic an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to India as needed.
• Hands‑on, result‑oriented mindset with ambition to grow within a fast‑growing logistics setup.
