Funds Associate – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a Funds Associate to join a leading international law firm in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves advising on sophisticated fund formation, investment structuring, and regulatory matters for asset managers, investment funds, and financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on fund formation and cross‑border investment structures.
• Draft and negotiate fund documentation, partnership agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Support market‑leading partners on complex transactions and client matters.
• Liaise with regulators and ensure compliance with local and international rules.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor – either SRA‑qualified in the UK or Australian‑qualified lawyer.
• Minimum of five years post‑qualification experience (5 PQE) in fund law.
• Experience advising asset managers, investment funds, or financial institutions.

Required skills

• Fund formation and structuring expertise.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge for UAE and international jurisdictions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
