Graduate Trainee – Compliance, AML & KYC

About the role

We are looking for a motivated graduate trainee to join a confidential regulated financial services and fintech firm in Dubai. This 3‑6 month program offers hands‑on exposure to compliance, anti‑money‑laundering (AML) and know‑your‑customer (KYC) operations, supporting day‑to‑day activities under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with KYC/CDD file reviews, customer documentation checks and data validation.
• Support basic sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening.
• Maintain trackers, case notes, evidence files and audit‑ready documentation.
• Help with onboarding, periodic review and customer due‑diligence workflows.
• Participate in compliance monitoring, quality checks and sample reviews.
• Prepare basic reports on open cases, documentation gaps and case volumes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to follow up on missing information.
• Contribute to updates of SOPs, checklists, templates and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, Risk or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or entry‑level candidate with strong interest in compliance, AML, KYC or financial crime.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the UAE.
