Information & Security Controller – Dubai Tram

About the role

The Information & Security Controller ensures the safety and security of the Dubai Tram Al Sufouh system. Working from the control centre, you will monitor all assets, coordinate with customer service teams and act as the liaison with Dubai Police and other authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security across offices, stations, depots, auxiliary buildings and car parks using CCTV and telecommunications recording systems.
• Direct Customer Service Operators to respond to incidents, fare evasion, vandalism, anti‑social behaviour and other security threats.
• Serve as the primary contact between the tram system and Dubai Police or other governmental agencies.
• Provide real‑time, clear information to passengers at stations and onboard trams.
• Oversee passenger flow at platforms and on trams, coordinating with tram drivers and operators during abnormal operations.
• Inspect and monitor station equipment such as escalators, elevators, ticket machines and fire‑detection systems.
• Support the Chief Controller with external communications and emergency shift duties.

Required profile

• Strong awareness of Integrated Management System, health‑safety‑environment and information‑security policies.
• Ability to exercise personal duty of care for self and others.
• Willingness to use and enforce safety equipment and PPE.
