Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

Al-Awsat Distribution is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to ensure the stability, security, and performance of its technology environment at the Dubai headquarters. You will support user devices, network and VPN services, enforce endpoint policies, and manage data backup processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line troubleshooting for infrastructure issues such as network outages, VPN failures, and hardware connectivity problems.
• Configure and enforce device and user policies using Microsoft Intune/MDM and assist with the Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solution.
• Execute backup tasks, verify logs, and maintain restore points to meet security compliance.
• Maintain an accurate IT asset register and ensure all hardware records are up‑to‑date.
• Handle employee provisioning tasks, including account creation, email setup, device handover, and off‑boarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Basic understanding of LAN, VPN, endpoint security, and data protection principles.
• Proficiency in English (required) and Arabic (very good preferred).
