IT Systems Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to design, implement and operate the IT infrastructure for our Abu Dhabi office, aligning it with our New York setup. The role combines hands‑on infrastructure work with high‑quality end‑user support.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, switching, routing and internet connectivity following global standards.
• Configure and operate FortiGate‑based VPN and firewall infrastructure.
• Deploy, image and manage standard laptop/desktop builds across Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Apply security policies, manage endpoint protection, disk encryption and multi‑factor authentication (Duo).
• Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack and conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).
• Provide first‑line IT support for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Procure, inventory, configure and lifecycle‑manage devices, including off‑boarding and secure wipes.
• Set up and maintain office workstations, docking stations, monitors and A/V equipment for meeting rooms.
• Document configurations and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in implementing and operating office IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support both technical and non‑technical users.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
