IT Systems & Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Systems & Support Engineer to deliver L1/L2 technical support across hardware, software, networking and infrastructure. The role involves maintaining high availability of services while adhering to ITIL best‑practice processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 & L2 support for incidents, service requests and changes within agreed SLAs.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, VPN tunnels and remote‑access solutions.
• Administer Microsoft 365 (including E5) services and endpoint security solutions.
• Deploy, configure and maintain Windows Server platforms and related enterprise services.
• Perform server monitoring, patching, performance optimisation and documentation.
• Manage NAS storage systems, enterprise switches and structured cabling environments.
• Support VoIP/PBX systems (Grandstream) and CCTV surveillance infrastructure.
• Deliver desktop support and comprehensive network troubleshooting for end users.
• Monitor infrastructure health using IT monitoring and alerting tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure service continuity.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with FortiGate firewalls, VPN, Windows Server, Microsoft 365/E5 and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with NAS storage, enterprise switches, structured cabling, Grandstream VoIP/PBX and CCTV systems.
• Understanding of ITIL incident and change management processes.
