Java Developer – Technology Lead (Dubai)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead with strong Java expertise to drive core Java and API development in Dubai. You will work closely with stakeholders across the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to architecture design and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define high‑level application architecture and design artifacts.
• Develop high‑quality, reusable Java code and RESTful APIs.
• Lead validation activities across unit, integration, system and user testing.
• Support implementation, transition and warranty phases.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Document data pipelines, processes and best practices.

Required skills

• Core Java (Java SE), J2EE, Java 8, 11, 17, 21.
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
• RESTful API design and development.
• AWS cloud development.
• Big Data stack: Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Shell Script, EMR, Step Functions, Lambda, Glue, Sqoop, Kafka.
• Databases: Amazon Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server.
