Lead Scrum Master

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Scrum Master to drive Agile practices and improve team efficiency in delivering projects on time. The role will act as a servant‑leader, ensuring the Scrum framework is understood and followed across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum events including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, ensuring full team engagement.
• Coach the Agile team on Scrum principles, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments, both internal and external, to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor Scrum artifacts such as sprint backlogs, burndown charts and ensure transparency of progress.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to keep the product backlog well‑prioritized and aligned with business value.
• Medi​ate conflicts and foster open communication to enhance team dynamics.
• Prepare and deliver regular management and progress reports in line with organisational policies.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, security and risk management procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Scrum teams in a technology or software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to coach teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Commitment to health, safety and security standards.
