Microsoft 365 & Azure Administrator (L2)

About the role

This hands‑on L2 position within Gargash Group Technology is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, stability and security of the organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenant and Azure environment. The role works closely with Cybersecurity, Risk & Governance, Applications and Enterprise Architecture to ensure cloud services are managed to a professional, secure‑by‑default standard.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Configure and manage Intune/Endpoint Manager for device enrollment, compliance and application deployment.
• Operate Microsoft Purview controls such as DLP, retention and sensitivity labels.
• Maintain tenant hygiene by cleaning unused mailboxes, orphaned accounts and stale sites.
• Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) lifecycle, groups, application registrations and Conditional Access policies.
• Run Privileged Identity Management and conduct periodic access reviews.
• Support migration from on‑prem AD to cloud‑native Entra ID, including hybrid sync.
• Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups and management groups, provisioning IaaS and PaaS services.
• Handle Azure Key Vault secret, key and certificate lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration at a second‑line support level.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, Conditional Access and MFA.
• Ability to work collaboratively with security, architecture and application teams.
• Experience with cloud migration and hybrid identity scenarios.
