Nursery Nurse - Early Years Health & Safety Specialist

About the Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide a secure, healthy, and nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Main Missions

• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being for all children in accordance with DHA regulations.
• Manage medical records, conduct daily health screenings, and implement infection prevention and control policies.
• Monitor and manage health protocols, including COVID-19 requirements and allergy management.
• Oversee the isolation and guidance of unwell children and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating play environment.
• Provide essential support to classroom teachers and assist in the daily educational activities.
• Conduct staff training regarding the management of allergies and major medical conditions.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting with a strong focus on child welfare.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, specifically tailored for interacting with young children.
• Highly flexible and capable of multitasking with efficiency and precision.
• Strong sense of responsibility and proactive approach to health and safety.

Required Skills

• First Aid administration and emergency response.
• Knowledge of DHA (Dubai Health Authority) compliance and hygiene standards.
• Child health monitoring and medical record management.
• Infection control and allergy management protocols.
• Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) awareness.
