Operations and Maintenance Technician

About the role

Alstom is looking for a full‑time onsite Operations and Maintenance Technician in Dubai. You will apply your engineering expertise to keep transport equipment reliable and safe, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance while collaborating with engineering, quality, and EHS teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and support the definition of corrective actions.
• Perform tests and verifications to ensure equipment functionality.
• Maintain and manage tools, special tools, and spare parts.
• Report any deformities encountered during maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and follow manuals and maintenance plans.
• Comply with Alstom EHS rules and safety standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
• Experience or understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and fault diagnostics.
• Familiarity with maintenance documentation and reporting processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
• Understanding of quality standards and compliance with safety regulations (EHS rules).
