Operations & Performance Manager (Ex Recruiter)

About the role

This position combines operations management with performance oversight, acting as the operational backbone for a fast‑growing recruitment business. You will ensure daily high‑level performance, drive KPI accountability, and support the development of junior recruiters.

Key responsibilities

• Drive KPI accountability across the business.
• Run daily and weekly performance meetings.
• Monitor recruiter activity, output, and adherence to processes.
• Ensure systems, processes, and standards are consistently followed.
• Help train and develop junior recruiters.
• Improve consistency across candidate and client delivery.
• Support onboarding of new hires and associates.
• Track performance metrics and report directly to leadership.
• Contribute to building a high‑performance culture without unnecessary politics or bureaucracy.

Required profile

• Recruitment experience or experience managing high‑performance sales teams.
• Strong accountability mindset and ability to hold people to standards.
• Highly organised, process‑driven, and detail‑oriented.
• Understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
• Confident in leading meetings and managing diverse personalities.
• Desire to help build and scale a serious business in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
