People Partner Trainee – Emiratisation Focus

About the role

Join Chalhoub Group as a People Partner Trainee and support a people‑first environment within a leading luxury retailer. You will help drive UAE Nationalisation initiatives while gaining hands‑on experience across HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance onboarding experiences and coordinate welcome activities for new joiners, including UAE nationals.
• Track UAE Nationalisation progress, conduct engagement check‑ins, and foster community among UAE national associates.
• Maintain HR trackers, organise employee recognition, and keep people data and reports up to date.
• Plan and execute engagement, wellbeing, birthday and recognition programmes, and create internal communications.
• Interact with store teams, managers and associates across multiple luxury brands.
• Support recruitment activities, update organisational charts and contribute to HR process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and positive energy.
• Genuine interest in people, teamwork and community building.
• UAE National preferred due to the role’s focus on Nationalisation.
• Open to feedback, eager to learn and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
