Plant & Field Engineer – LPG

About the role

We are seeking a Plant & Field Engineer specialized in LPG to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our LPG filling plant and distribution centre in Dubai. The role ensures a safe, efficient environment while complying with all relevant safety and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations and maintenance of the LPG filling plant and distribution centre, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments and ensure compliance with LPG regulations (NFPA, UAE Fire & Safety Codes).
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams, contractors and government authorities.
• Manage procurement of materials through the Oracle system in collaboration with Purchasing and Stores.
• Respond to emergencies, coordinate with response teams and perform post‑incident analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, safety inspections and maintenance, preparing reports for management.
• Collaborate with logistics, quality control and engineering departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Verify product and equipment quality against industry standards and conduct routine inspections.
• Ensure tanker deliveries comply with Emarat HSE guidelines and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in LPG bottling plants, commercial LPG installations or LPG projects.
• Familiarity with LPG regulations such as NFPA and UAE fire and safety codes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• AutoCAD proficiency.
