Security Manager

About the role

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is seeking a Security Manager to lead its Integrity Unit’s Centre of Excellence for event security. This senior position provides strategic leadership, expert guidance and operational oversight for security across all ICC‑organized cricket events worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the ICC’s Centre of Excellence for international cricket event security, setting standards, processes and innovation.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve security frameworks, policies, protocols and procedures for all ICC events.
• Provide expert security advice and operational planning for tournaments, qualifiers and standalone events from inception through delivery and post‑event review.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with ICC Member boards, host countries, law‑enforcement agencies and security partners.
• Design and deliver knowledge‑sharing programmes, workshops and training to raise security capability across the ICC membership.
• Monitor the global security landscape, produce regular threat and risk assessments and ensure proportionate protective measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading security programmes for large‑scale international events.
• Strong ability to develop and implement security policies, frameworks and operational plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working with sports governing bodies, governments and law‑enforcement agencies.
• Analytical mindset for intelligence‑led risk assessment and threat monitoring.
• Demonstrated capacity to drive continuous improvement through post‑event debriefs and benchmarking.
