SEN Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to provide individualized and small‑group support for students with special educational needs. You will develop and implement IEPs and differentiated learning strategies while fostering an inclusive, student‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group instruction tailored to each student’s needs.
• Design, monitor, and update Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated curricula.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to track progress and wellbeing.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (major Psychology or related) plus a diploma/associate degree in Special Education.
• Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in a similar role within American, British, or IB schools.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and inclusive education practices.
