Senior Backend Developer

About the role

xCube, a UAE‑based fintech firm, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, build and maintain high‑performance APIs and services. The role involves creating new applications from scratch, enhancing existing ones, and providing technical support for integration with various cloud and database platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define software architecture and design.
• Write clean, scalable code using C# and .NET Core, and interact with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Test, deploy, and monitor applications and services.
• Refactor, debug, and continuously improve existing software components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in application development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Self‑motivated team player with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
