Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

SignatureRxis is scaling its digital e‑prescription platform and needs a senior backend engineer to shape the future of its infrastructure. You will work on high‑traffic services that process thousands of e‑prescriptions and pharmacy orders each month.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and improve the existing backend architecture.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, high‑performance APIs and services.
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior developers.
• Build integrations across the e‑prescription, pharmacy SaaS, and e‑commerce platforms.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools to boost engineering productivity.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and operations teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong background in backend development with Node.js, Typescript, and preferably PHP.
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of databases, system design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to refactor legacy code and improve performance.
• Team player with leadership and communication skills.
