Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Cloud Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and manage scalable, secure Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative Agile mindset to ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for enterprise‑scale applications.
• Manage and optimise production‑grade Azure environments focusing on scalability, performance, security and cost efficiency.
• Integrate DevSecOps controls, compliance checks and vulnerability management into delivery workflows.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep and ARM templates.
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm, FluxCD and ArgoCD for GitOps.
• Build observability stacks with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana and centralised logging.
• Support AI/ML and LLM infrastructure such as Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
• Automate operational tasks with PowerShell, Python and Bash scripting.
• Maintain source code repositories, branching strategies and code quality using GitHub and SonarQube.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure in enterprise production environments.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.
