Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our fast‑paced technology team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on supporting large‑scale AI platforms and cloud‑native systems, ensuring high availability, scalability and security across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment.
• Manage and optimise both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premise infrastructure environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Deploy, manage and support containerised applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability and alerting solutions for production systems.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security and compliance across all environments.
• Provide production and development infrastructure support with a focus on uptime and performance.
• Collaborate with software engineering, AI, platform and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery pipelines.
• Automate operational processes to improve deployment efficiency across multiple environments.
• Support high‑availability, mission‑critical systems within large‑scale cloud infrastructures.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise or large‑scale cloud environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible and Git.
• Proven experience managing AWS, Azure or GCP platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security and reliability engineering.
• Experience supporting high‑availability and distributed systems.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, AI‑driven engineering environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
