Senior Instock Manager – Strategic Initiatives (MENA)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing team that is building a new grocery business from the ground up in the MENA region. As a Senior Instock Manager you will own the end‑to‑end sourcing and inventory strategy, work closely with cross‑functional partners, and drive operational excellence across vendor and supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements in supply planning, vendor operations, and inventory management.
• Develop and execute a sourcing strategy that balances availability, cost, and quality for owned vendors.
• Lead manufacturer and vendor reviews, and champion best‑practice scaling across categories.
• Collaborate with operations, product, and central teams to enable tools for fresh buying and planning.
• Drive cost reductions, defect mitigation, lead‑time improvements, and automation within the vendor community.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional or military experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, data science, economics, finance, engineering, computer science).
• Proven experience leading process‑improvement initiatives, systems development, and project management.
• Strong analytical background with knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to present results to senior leadership.
