Senior Mobile Engineer – React Native

About the role

BurjX is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to own and evolve its fintech mobile platform on iOS and Android. You will be responsible for the full app lifecycle, from architecture and feature development to CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and post‑release support in a security‑sensitive, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production‑grade React Native applications using Expo and TypeScript.
• Manage release workflows, including code signing, provisioning, TestFlight, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, phased rollouts, and hotfixes.
• Implement scalable architecture for state management, routing, API synchronization, caching, secure storage, offline handling, and error recovery.
• Develop secure user experiences for onboarding, authentication, KYC, wallet management, trading, notifications, and account settings.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with EAS Build, GitHub Actions, Fastlane, and related tooling.
• Integrate monitoring tools such as Sentry and Firebase Crashlytics and ensure app quality through automated testing (Jest, Detox, Maestro).
• Investigate production incidents, debug crashes, and coordinate rapid fixes.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, compliance, and leadership teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience with strong production background in React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining iOS and Android applications.
• Experience working in regulated or security‑focused environments is a plus.
