Senior Software Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Joseph Engineering Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Dubai office. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead software development initiatives, design robust back‑end systems, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, scalable code for digital engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate software development projects from conception to deployment.
• Design, implement, and maintain back‑end architectures and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and performant code following object‑oriented principles.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate digital solutions, including BIM workflows.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Proven experience in back‑end web development and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within diverse, cross‑functional project teams.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a plus.
