Senior Software Engineer (Java/Spring) – Dubai

About the role

We are partnering with a leading fintech in the UAE to build high‑scale, production‑grade systems for payments, onboarding, and core banking. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and develop backend services from scratch, leveraging modern tools and AI‑assisted workflows to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using Java and Spring.
• Contribute to system architecture, design decisions, and engineering best practices.
• Write clean, production‑grade code and own features end‑to‑end.
• Utilize modern tools, including AI‑assisted workflows, to improve development efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience with core Java and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Background in fintech or top‑tier consumer technology companies.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, system design, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience building systems at scale, not just maintaining them.
• Ability to balance first‑principles engineering with effective use of AI tools.
