Systems & Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Systems & Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and support our hybrid infrastructure spanning on‑premise data centres and Microsoft Azure. The role ensures reliability, security and performance of critical systems while driving automation and AI‑enabled improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain infrastructure across data‑centre and Azure environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability and security.
• Support business‑critical applications and databases.
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, application and network layers.
• Provide Level 1–2 IT support, including user access and device management.
• Administer backups, patching, upgrades and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Implement security best practices such as firewalls, VPNs and access controls.
• Leverage automation and AI tools to improve monitoring, troubleshooting and operations.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems or cloud operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
• Experience supporting applications and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with regulated or production environments.
