Vice President of Technology & Analytics

About the role

A leading digital media and consumer technology organisation in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Vice President of Technology & Analytics to steer its next phase of technology, data and digital transformation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role will define and execute strategies that drive growth, innovation and operational excellence across a large‑scale digital platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a long‑term technology vision aligned with corporate objectives and growth ambitions.
• Lead all aspects of technology delivery, including software engineering, architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, platform operations and reliability.
• Drive large‑scale technology transformation programmes to ensure scalable, secure and resilient platforms.
• Champion best practices in engineering, infrastructure management, automation, governance and operational efficiency.
• Oversee cloud strategy, optimisation initiatives and modernisation programmes.
• Develop and implement the organisation’s data and analytics strategy, establishing robust data governance and scalable platforms.
• Promote data‑led decision making across commercial, product, marketing, customer experience and operational functions.
• Partner with product, commercial, marketing and content teams to optimise digital experiences and customer journeys.
• Build, lead and develop high‑performing engineering, data, analytics, security and technology operations teams.
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology investment, digital transformation and future growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Commercially minded technology leader with extensive experience in complex digital and consumer‑facing environments.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale transformation programmes and multi‑disciplinary engineering, data and analytics teams.
• Strong strategic advisory skills for executive leadership on technology investment and digital growth.
