Accountant – AR/AP with Odoo ERP

About the role

The Accountant will manage the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and timely reporting. The role requires strong Odoo ERP experience and the ability to support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer invoicing, payments, and AR reconciliations in Odoo, generate aging reports and forecast collections.
• Handle supplier invoices, three‑way matching, vendor payments, and AP reconciliations, ensuring timely disbursements.
• Prepare AR and AP financial reports, assist with budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment on sales and purchase documents and provide documentation for UAE Corporate Tax filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
