Accountant – Automobile Garage (Musaffah, Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The garage is looking for a dedicated accountant to manage day‑to‑day financial operations. You will handle bookkeeping, invoicing, VAT compliance and support payroll processes in a fast‑moving automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Enter customer invoices and supplier bills.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Maintain VAT records and assist with VAT return filing.
• Support payroll processing and WPS salary payments.
• Follow up receivables and payables.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, outstanding statements).
• Coordinate with management and external auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience with accounting software such as Manager, Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Automotive or garage accounting experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is a plus.
