Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. You will manage core accounting functions, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support the company’s growth through accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of all financial records.
• Utilize the Odoo ERP system for all accounting processes and data management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT and other tax regulations.
• Process employee reimbursement claims and assist with payroll when required.
• Collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders during annual audits.

Required profile

• Proven accounting experience in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo or a comparable ERP system.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical abilities.
