Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are a leading diversified group in Dubai seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting functions and support our growing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Conduct bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable schedules.
• Review supporting documents to ensure proper classification of transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable standards.
• Follow up on missing accounting documents and information from clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of VAT and UAE financial regulations.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA or ACCA are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks).
